This project had an insanely fast turnaround time, and to this day, I am still proud of how those lit up eyes look through the blanket. For reference, there was no practical lighting on the monster's face. The eyes were sunken in and colored darker than the rest of the skin tone. I used that difference in tone to create a luma matte, inverted the color, and applied a series of glows to achieve the look.
